Update: Three listed as critical in Highway accident

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Three of the persons who were injured in an accident on Thursday afternoon (March 6) are said to be in a critical condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital.

The accident also claimed the life a man, who is the son of a pastor. iNews has been informed that the three injured persons are all church members and are presently being prepared to have CT Scans done since they suffered severe head injuries and are unconscious.

The three persons have been identified as Fabian Williams, Adlenne Simpson and Kishanna Singh. Two of the three are said to be from an interior location while one is from the Corentyne, Berbice.

Meanwhile, this news site has been informed that the person, who was driving the vehicle that the church members were in, was involved in an accident recently.

iNews understands that the church members raised several concerns when the man took the wheels today and opted to drive them to a church crusade.

The van then collided with a truck on the Soesdyke Public Road. Several church members have gathered at the Georgetown Public Hospital in prayers for the injured.
