[www.inewguyana.com] – Winston McBean of Lot 65 Kitty Public Road, Georgetown was ordered by Magistrate Geeta Chandan-Edmond to post $15,000 bail on a threatening language charge.
The 23 – year – old labourer pleaded not guilty to offence on Thursday, March 6. It is alleged that on March 5, in the city, he made use of threatening language to his girlfriend, Melissa Indal.
Cadet Officer Collin Primus, prosecuting, did not object to bail. Attorney – at –Law, Paul Fung – A – Fat represented the defendant and requested reasonable bail for his client, after he informed the Court that the virtual complainant does not wish to offer any evidence in the matter.
Indal was not present in Court and the case was put off to March 14.
