[www.inewsguyana.com] – At about 05:10 hrs today, Wednesday June 03, the bodies of Parbatie Vyraum, 34 years, and her reputed husband Ramdat Persaud, 56 years, were found in their home at Tain, Corentyne, Berbice.
A police report noted that the woman was found lying on a bed with stab wounds to the body, while her husband was found on the floor.
Based on initial investigations, the Police are working on a theory of suspected murder/suicide, and are awaiting the results of the Post Mortem Examination.
