[www.inewsguyana.com] – The body of one of two Miners who fell into the Aranka Creek, Cuyuni on Tuesday (August 5) , was recovered this morning by a search party that has been probing the area since yesterday.
iNews was reliably informed that the body of Leon D’Aguiar was fished out of the creek, a short distance from where the mishap occurred while the team of searchers are continuing the hunt for his coworker, 19 – year – old Junior Williams.
The young men had been working in the interior for the past three weeks with Miner, Floyd Wade
Sources say the young men were travelling across the creek; transporting engine parts to the Aranka Backdam, when one of them fell overboard. The other reportedly tried to save his co – worker but fell into the creek also.
