Minibus driver bailed on causing death by Dangerous Driving charge

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – Six – year – old minibus driver, Sukhraj Permaul was today charged with the offence of causing death by dangerous driving.

He appeared before Magistrate Ann McLennan and was not required to plea to the indictable charge, which alleged that on August 2 at Carifesta Avenue, Georgetown, he drove minibus BNN 6492 in a manner dangerous to the public thereby causing the death of Roy Albert Mendonca.

Permaul was represented by Attorney-at-law, Omeyana Hamilton, who requested bail in a reasonable sum for her client. Police Prosecutor Dinero Jones did not oppose bail.

He was placed on $800,000 bail until September 11 and he will make his next appearance before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.

  2. once bailed then he bailing to.. like all the rest of the killers in guyana….bet ya he buy he drivers license…those who selling the thing are killers too…
