[www.inewsguyana.com] – Ranks of a mobile patrol conducted a raid at Yarrowkabra, Soesdyke, Linden Highway on Monday, September 29 where they destroyed a field totaling about half acre in size of cannabis sativa (marijuana).

According to a police report, the plants ranged from 1-4 feet in height under cultivation. They also destroyed 500 plants and a camp. No arrest has been made.

  1. the good part is that thousands of pounds of illegal drugs have been prevented from reaching our youths. the distressing part is that no one,as is always the case, has been arrested. something is wrong with the police. don’t they know anything about staking out the area for days , weeks or even months if necessary until you catch the people involved in this large scale production of illegal drugs?
