[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – four – year old Vishaul Sooklall of Unity Street, La Grange, West Bank Demerara is nursing a gunshot wound to his right hand following an armed robbery on Tuesday night.
According to a police report, Sooklall was in a yard at Unity Street when he was held up by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun. He was shot and injured to his right hand during the robbery and the perpetrators took away $15, 000 and escaped.
The injured man has been admitted to hospital as the investigations continue.
