Two charged with looting house in Sophia during unrest

Sophia 1[www.inewsguyana.com] – Eighteen – year – old Lloyd Grant of ‘C’ Field, Turkeyen, and Orandel Noel, 18 years, of ‘B’ Field Sophia, have been charged after they were found looting a house at “C” Field, Sophia, during the night of Monday May 11, 2015.

Police confirmed that they will be appearing at the Sparendaam Magistrate Court on Wednesday, May 13.

iNews had reported that the residents burnt six vehicles in front of the home of Pastor Narine Khublall, following a rumor that he conducted an illegal polling station at his residence on election day.

The man’s house was being used as the command centre for the People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C).

  1. I strongly believe that the PPP/C have some tricks up their sleeves ,thats why they are manufacturing excuses for a recount! !
