[www.inewsguyana.com] – A Graphic Designer of Lot 149 D’ Anrade Street, Kitty, who was charged with unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition was sentenced to three years in jail on each offence.
Dellon Morgan was also fined $100,000 on each charge by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
He made his appearance in Court on January 28 last and pleaded not guilty to the charges which alleged that on January 25 at De Abreu Street, Kitty, Georgetown; he had in his possession one Luger Pistol with four live rounds of 9mm ammunition, when he was not a holder of a firearm license.
Following a trial, he was found guilty.
