[www.inewsguyana.com]Osafa Yarde, 28, a businessman of Lodge Housing Scheme, Georgetown, charged with threatening language was placed on $25,000 bail by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that on Saturday, January 25 at Lodge, he made use of threatening language to Christine Fernanz, where a breach of the peace may be occasioned.

Attorney- at – Law, Dexter Todd represented the defendant and told the Court that the virtual complainant (VC) is the defendant’s mother and his client has no pending matter before any Court.

He said Yarde has an alternative address of Lot 83 Princess Street, also in Lodge, where he will be residing to avoid contact with VC. Police Prosecutor, Michael Grant did not object to bail and the case was transferred before Magistrate Dylon Bess for report and fixtures. Yarde will make his next Court appearance on February 17.
