[www.inewsguyana.com] – Two cousins died in the wee hours Thursday morning when the car they were in crashed into a bus shed on the Essequibo Coast.

They have been identified as 12 – year – old Bidesh Mohabir and 19 – year old Rupesh Jadoo. Reports indicate that Jadoo was driving the car at the time of the accident, when he lost control and slammed into the concrete bus shed on the Lima Public Road, Essequibo Coast at approximately 1:00 hrs on Thursday, August 13.

iNews understands that the 12 – year – old, who was in the front passenger seat, sustained serious injuries to his head and face, while Jadoo, of Reliance Village, reportedly died on the spot.

Reports reaching iNews revealed that Jadoo picked up his cousin at around 17:00 hours on Wednesday from his home at Sparta Bamboo Dam home, to go and hang out.

Several residents in the area reported that the car was speeding in a southern direction before the accident occurred. Residents rushed to the accident scene and took the duo to the Suddie Hospital, where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
