[www.inewsguyana.com] – Former Tutorial High School student Lloyd Hazel was this afternoon (Friday, May 09) shot dead on Main Street, Georgetown in the vicinity of New Thriving.
Hazel is said to be 20 – years – old and resides in Lodge, Georgetown.
Eyewitnesses told iNews (www.inewsguyana.com) that the now dead man was riding on a CG motorcycle when he was shot by a policeman.
According to reports, Hazel had just committed a robbery (allegedly) when an undercover police officer caught up with him and shot at him several times.
He was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead and later identified by weeping family members and friends.
Reports thus far indicate that he was found with a bag containing cash and a firearm.
Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports suggest that another person is being sought by police in connection to the alleged robbery.
Some parents and family members are the greatest murderers of their own children, child comes home with ill-gotten cash, instead of questioning the source the parents accept it with glee, it becomes a job for the child, for one man’s loss is another’s gain until the tables turn and the grief is too hard to bear.
