[www.inewsguyana.com] – The body of a pedal cyclist of East Indian is currently at the Georgetown Public Hospital mortuary awaiting identification.
According to police, the man was on Saturday, September 26 riding along the Good Hope Embankment on the East Coast of Demerara when he was struck down by a motor vehicle.
The incident occurred at about 10:30 hours.
The injured man was taken to the GPHC where he later succumbed while receiving medical treatment.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
