[www.inewsguyana.com] – Two men and a female are in police custody after they allegedly robbed a Taxi Driver of his car on Wednesday, August 26 at North Ruimveldt.
According to a police report, at about 00:45 hrs, Haslington Edwards of Diamond, East Bank Demerara, was attacked and robbed of his motor vehicle at North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, by a group of 3 men and 2 women who had hired him from the Stabroek Market.
Quick response to the report by the police led to the recovery of the vehicle and the arrest of three of the suspects, two men and a woman. They are in custody assisting with the investigations.
