Taxi Driver charged with Tucville murder

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Another man has been charged with the murder of Ryan Clementson, who was shot at Turning Point, Tucville between July 14 and 24.

Thirty – two – year old Taxi Driver, Nabadaningi Gobin of 1049 Aubrey Barker Street, South Ruimveldt, appeared before Magistrate Ann McLennan and was remanded to prison until August 14. He was unrepresented during his appearance and police prosecutor, Dinero Jones told the court that he has other matters before the court.

On July 31, Edward Skeete also known as ‘Pretty Boy’ appeared before the same at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, also charged with the murder of Clementson.

The 28-year-old accused, who gave his address as Lot 309 Independence Boulevard, Georgetown, was not required to plead to the indictable charge.

Skeete, a mason by profession, was unrepresented during his court appearance and was remanded to prison. According to police reports, 25-year-old Clementson of Mocha Arcadia, East Bank Demerara succumbed to his injuries after he was shot by a gunman while in the company of another man at Turning Point, Tucville.

According to information received, Clementson was standing on the bridge at Turning Point when a man drove up on a motorcycle and discharged several rounds in his direction before fleeing.
