Prisoners escape from Georgetown Magistrates’ Court

 

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Reports indicate that a number of prisoners escaped from the lock ups at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court moments ago.

Reports from the Court indicated that one of the prisoners was caught, while the others are on the run. iNews understands that the Police could not immediately say exactly how many of the prisoners escaped.

The men are not armed and unconfirmed reports suggest that they escaped through a hole in the holding facility at the Court. iNews will provide more details as it becomes available.
