[www.inewsguyana.com] – At about 08:00h today, Thursday January 01, 2015, Police Constable Mohamed Salim who is stationed in ‘D’ Division (West Demerara/East Bank Essequibo) was on the main road at Vergenoegen, EBE, when a motor vehicle drove past from which shots were discharged at him.
He was hit to his left foot and has been admitted to hospital. Investigations are in progress.
