‘Poison’ to face Judge for attempted murder

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Victor ‘Poison’ Pindar also known as Sherwin Pindar of West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was committed to stand trial in High Court.

The 41 – year – old porter was charged with attempt to commit murder, particulars of which stated that on October 21, 2013 at Leopold Street, Georgetown, he committed tried to kill Carsdale Aaron.

The Preliminary Inquiry (PI) commenced on February 10 and the accused was on remand during the time that the matter was being heard before Magistrate Ann McLennan.

According to the Prosecution, the virtual complainant (VC) and the accused had a misunderstanding over a lost cellular phone. He was confronted by the VC, who stabbed him several times about his body with a knife. Aaron was hospitalized for sometime after the incident and later lost a kidney due to the injuries he suffered.
