Pastor’s son dead, several injured in Soesdyke accident

[www.inewsguyana.com] – One man is dead and several persons were this afternoon (Thursday, March 5) injured following an accident just off the Soesdyke Linden Highway.

The dead man has only been identified as the son of a pastor, bearing the surname ‘Aaron’.

At the moment several of the injured are being treated at the Diamond Hospital, while others have been transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital.

iNews was informed that the accident involved a truck and a van. The injured were said to be traveling in the van heading from Bible School to a crusade when they collided with the truck. Seven persons were reportedly inside the van.
