[www.inewsguyana.com] – A mother who was struck down along with her daughter on Sunday last has died.
According to a police report, 32 – year – old Shalini Jewlall and her 7 – year – old daughter of Strand, New Amsterdam, Berbice, were struck down by a motor cycle as they were crossing Main Street, New Amsterdam.
The victims and the driver received injuries and were admitted to the New Amsterdam Hospital.
Jewlall succumbed to her injuries this morning.
Investigations are in progress.
