Mason charged with break and enter

Court[www.inewsguyana.com] – An 18-year-old Mason of Lot 462 A Third Field Kaneville, Grove, East Bank Demerara was granted $100,000 bail on a break and enter charge.

Edmando Adams made his appearance before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry and denied the charge when it was read to him.

Particulars of charge read that on April 9 at Kaneville, he broke and entered the dwelling place of Kerwin DeCunha with the intent to commit a felony.

The prosecution alleged that on the day in question DeCunha secured his home and left to conduct business. On his return around 21:10 hrs, he discovered six missing windows panes and Adams was found sitting in a corner of the room.

The matter was subsequently reported to the Police.

The case was transferred to the Providence Court, for April 16.
