[www.inewsguyana.com] – A 28-year-old man of Brush Dam Buxton, East Coast Demerara, was on Tuesday, April 14, placed $50,000 bail on a simple larceny charge.
Orandy McClean made his appearance before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry and denied the charge when it was read to him.
Particulars of charge read that on April 8 at Water Street, Georgetown, he stole one Samsung Galaxy S5 phone valued $185,000, property of Nalinie Moonsammy.
Police Prosecutor Bharat Mangru did not object to bail and the matter was transferred before Magistrate Annette Singh for report and fixtures, on April 20.
