Man was alive when Parfaite Harmonie house was set on fire

crime 2[www.inewsguyana.com] – A post mortem performed on the charred remains of 27 – year – old Jason Munroe of 308 Parfaite Harmonie proved that he was alive when a fire was set to the home in which he and three others in.

Police sources disclosed to iNews that the man died as a result of smoke inhalation. iNews was also informed that the man may have fainted after he was struck twice in the head by the intruder.

The suspect, Clifton Joseph of Charlestown is expected to be placed before the court on Thursday, September 25, charged with the offences of murder, attempted murder, arson and statuary rape based on the facts which the police were able to gather during their investigations.

On Monday morning, Joseph 38, of Charlestown and a minibus conductor allegedly set fire to the home in which Munroe, his 20 – year – old girlfriend, her 3 – year – old along with the 15 – year – old were in.
