[www.inewsguyana.com] – Fazal Ali, 46, of Agriculture Road, East Coast Demerara is currently nursing a gunshot wound at the Georgetown Public Hospital, following an attempted robbery outside of the Sleepin Hotel on Brickdam, Georgetown this morning.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that Ali was in his car, which was parked on the bridge at the hotel waiting to hand over a large sum of money to another man, when he was shot in his left forearm.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unclear at this time and iNews will provide more information as it becomes available.
