Severe flooding hits Georgetown

flooding web[www.inewsguyana.com] – Section of Georgetown is under severe flood waters as heavy rain continues across the country.

As a result of the continuous rain, the Ministry of Education has decided to close all schools in the city, as home owners grapple with the floods.

At present, Minister of Public Works, Robeson Benn and Local Government Minister, Norman Whittaker are out in the fields.

The Ministry of Education has since advised that all public schools in Georgetown will be closed today due to inclement weather and flooding in parts of the city.

  1. Thanks to the PPP they doing a great job spending MILLIONS and the same shit every time the rain set up,,,let all them who building and blacking all the drains on Regent street and all the other trenches ,cause they know some big PPP, well this is what will happen , vote PPP

  2. For how long taxpayers money will continue to spend on flooding in the city and around the country no positive results. Ui don’t have to ug to solve this problem
