[www.inewsguyana.com] – Forty – two – year –old, Junior Craig was placed on $50,000 bail by Magistrate Ann McLennan bail for assaulting his sister.
Craig, who is a miner, residing at Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara, pleaded not guilty to the offence, alleged that on August 10 at Soesdyke, he unlawfully assault Marissa Craig, causing her actual bodily harm.
The Court heard that on the day in question, the virtual complainant and Craig had a misunderstanding during which he allegedly dealt her several cuffs about her body.
The unrepresented man was bonded to keep the peace and the matter will call again on October 21.
