[www.inewsguyana.com] – At about 21:30h last night, Saturday December 28, miner Vivian La Cruz, 31 years, of Zeeburg, West Coast Demerara, who was a prisoner at the Acquero Police Station, North West District, was found hanging from a metal bar in his cell by one of the legs of his pants. He was the only prisoner in the lockups at the time.
Vivian La Cruz had been arrested by the police yesterday following a report made against him of unlawful wounding committed on his girlfriend at Quibana, North West District. The body is at the Charity Hospital Mortuary awaiting a PME. Investigations are in progress.
