A number of persons voted on the iNews website, following the poll question: Should you wait until the New Year to form resolutions and make changes?

In response, 82 percent voted no, ten percent voted yes and a mere eight percent were undecided.

A New Year’s resolution is a secular tradition, most common in the West but found around the world, in which a person makes a promise to do an act of self-improvement starting on New Year’s Day.
