[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of logger Eldon Gaime, 34 years, of Pomona Village, Essequibo Coast, which occurred at about 01:00h on Tuesday March 25, at Oku Backdam, Cuyuni.
Police investigations so far indicate that Eldon Gaime accidentally shot himself through his throat with an improvised 12 gauge shotgun while travelling on a tractor.
The improvised shotgun and an empty casing have been recovered by the police. The driver of the vehicle and another man are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
