Gold[] – The Board of Directors of the Guyana Gold Board has invited the Guyana Police Force to investigate an issue of gold being tampered during the purchasing process.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Natural Resources, in order to facilitate this investigation, the Ministry has accept the decision of the Board of Directors of the Guyana Gold Board to temporarily close all operations at the Bartica Sub-Office.
