Festival City man shot in attempted execution

crime scene[www.inewsguyana.com] – A Festival City, North Ruimveldt man is now nursing two gunshot wounds to his body after he was shot in a failed execution bid at his home.

Reports reaching iNews indicate that Christopher Molligan was sitting on his steps when two men approached him and started shooting.

The men fired four shots – two of which connected to the intended target. Molligan, a father of one, was shot in the palm of his hand and his buttocks.

Neighbours reported hearing the gunshots sometime after 17:00hrs on Wednesday, November 18, 2015.

Rushing outside, one woman said she saw the unmasked men making their escape in a motorcar. Molligan is currently at the Georgetown Public Hospital where doctors are performing surgery to remove the bullets.

  1. Well you know KN and SN will be ashame to do that. They blame the PPP for everything now it’s worse and they can’t say anything. Some of them so shame to open their mouths and admit to the obvious.
