[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police have launched a man hunt for Former Guyana Defence Force (GDF) Sergeant Rawle Glasgow who is alleged to have intentionally set fire to his Enterprise, East Coast Demerara house, where he and his family resided.
Police sources told iNews that relatives claimed he had threatened to kill them over the weekend but could not confirm what sparked the man’s outrage.
Reports indicate that relatives have reasons to believe that the man may attempt suicide and are feverishly trying to locate him following the incident which occurred just after midnight.
When contacted, officials at the Guyana Fire Service said the matter is still being investigated but confirmed that it was the work of an Arsonist.
All occupants of the home escaped without injuries. Glasgow lived in the house with his three children, wife and mother.
An online news site claimed Glasgow returned home and was enraged when he allegedly found his wife with a doll with his name and needles stuck in its head.
