  1. A year ago to the day, a dead cow lay rotting on the East Coast Demerara Highway across from the residence of the recently departed American Ambassador to Guyana, Dr D Brent Hardt. Well, of course, we all know what the Ambassador had to endure this year as he hosted about 150 or more Guyanese at his residence for the Independence of his country and his Farewell from this country where he made an impact during the three years he was here…..A not-too-nice-anymore lady who was present at the function, had other guests fuming as she made some statements which stench created a furor in Guyana and even abroad..

  2. What is going on in Guyana that is causing these horrible situations? The health and welfare of our citizens should be of paramount importance. Dead bodies in the cemetery morgue without proper storage. At this rate it won’t be long before there is a serious health crisis.
