Businessman shot during robbery

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – nine – year old Christopher Moonsammy of Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara was last evening shot to the right arm when three bandits, one armed with a handgun, showed up at his business place  located at Punt Trench Dam, East Ruimveldt, Georgetown.

iNews has been informed that the robbery took place at approximately 22.30 hrs. According to reports, when the men showed up at the Bakery establishment, they approached Moonsammy and demanded that he handed over his cash.

When he resisted, they shot him to the right arm and relieved him of his cash and escaped on foot. They were not masked and police investigations continue.
