60 – Y – O man busted with Marijuana, accused of Breaking & Entering

 

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Sixty – year – old Phillip Synphuria was today granted $110,000 bail for the offences of break and enter, larceny and possession of marijuana.

The Labourer pleaded not guilty before City Magistrate Ann McLennan. It is alleged that on November 07 at East La Penitence, Georgetown, he broke and entered the house of David Simmons and stole one Blackberry phone, one stereo set and one jersey, together valued $43,000.

Particulars of the other charge stated that on November 9 at his home in East La Penitence, he had in his possession five grammes Marijuana.

The unrepresented man was ordered to post $70,000 on the break and enter charge and $40,000 on the narcotics offence. He is scheduled to reappear in Court on November 27.
