21-Y-O remanded for illegal gun, ammo

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – one – year old Natalon Martin of East La Penitance, Georgetown accused of possession of firearm and ammunition, was remanded to prison, after he stood before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan to answer to the offenses.

It is alleged that on October 17, 2015 at East La Penitance, Georgetown, he had in his possession one .32 Pistol and 6 live rounds of .32 ammunition without being the holder of a firearm license.

Martin pleaded not guilty to both charges. The man is employed as a laborer at the Georgetown Mayor and City Council and was remanded to prison.

He is scheduled to make his next court appearance on November 4.

  1. why wasting the time on this fellow, he is only 21 years , he should be in school, this is a very petty crime, does the man kill anyone, asked the President ,must be pardoned immediately, why wait till May 26,2016
