[www.inewsguyana.com] – Forty five year old Carol Overton of Mocha, East Bank Demerara was last night killed while walking along the main access road.
According to police, who are currently carrying out investigations, the fatal accident occurred at about 20:30 hrs.
Investigations have revealed that Overton was walking along the roadway when she was struck down by a motor car. She was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
