An early morning robbery at the corner of Water and Cowan Streets, Kingston this morning, Monday July 8 has left one person dead and another injured
The robbery occurred around 8:30hrs. The dead man is yet to be identified.
Information reaching iNews stated that two cars, an Allion and Premio pulled up alongside a Pick up truck and robbed the driver of a bag filled with money, in close vicinity of the Kingston Koker.
According to reports, the gunmen fired several shots.
The vehicle of the taxi driver, which is assigned to Satellite Cabs was observed with a dent on the passenger’s side, following the robbery.
The scene is currently cordoned off and investigations are ongoing.
