Update: Electrician gunned down in Mocha home

POLICE INVOLVED SHOOTING[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – three – year old Terrence Lanferman of 37 Nelson Street, Mocha Arcadia East Bank Demerara was last evening gunned down in his home by a lone gunman who entered his yard, shot him and calmly walked out before racing to a parked motorcycle.

Persons in area recalled hearing two explosions which sounded like gunshots but before seeing the assailant fleeing the yard. The dead man’s mother, Ulice Lanferman said that she was at work when she received a telephone call informing her to visit the hospital.

The woman, who works at one of the Guyoil Service Stations, raced down to the Diamond Hospital where she was informed that her son was shot and that he passed away.

iNews understands that the young man was alone while his fiancé was upstairs at the neighbour when the incident occurred.

Asked if her son had issues with anyone, the boy’s mother could not say for certain but pointed out that there are “persons who were always finding some issue to pick” on her son.

Terrence leaves to mourn his mother, and two siblings aged 15 and 14.
