[www.inewsguyana.com] – Nineteen – year- old Ashmini Harriram was shot dead today [Thursday, July 10], just as she disembarked a minibus in Lusignan, East Coast Demerara.
Preliminary information reaching iNews stated that the young woman of Lot 9 ‘B’ Lusignan Embankment and her mother were returning from Georgetown, when Harriram disembarked the bus.
A man, who was parked waiting, took away her cellphone and shot her. She was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. iNews will provide more information as it becomes available.
