Taxi Driver gunned down in Strasthpey

[www.inewsguyana.com] – The body of Roopchand Darshad was found slumped in his vehicle on the Strasthpey Railway Embankment late Friday night (March 28) with a suspected bullet wound to his head.

Darshan, who is in his late 20’s lived in Enmore, East Coast Demerara. The man, popularly known as ‘Dave’ was found dead in the driver’s seat of his Spacio PRR 4834, which drove into a trench.

iNews (www.inewsguyana.com) was reliably informed that the man received a telephone call at home around 23:00 hrs from person (s) asking to be picked up.
