Suspected burglar shot in buttocks

[www.inewsguyana.com] – A suspected bandit was shot in the buttocks on Monday evening at Bell Vue West Bank Demerara by a licensed firearm holder.

According to a statement from the Guyana Police Force, at approximately 23:00hrs on Monday evening, Sunil Dindyal was approached by a man after he was noticed removing a vibrating machine and a sanding machine from a workshop.

The owner of the workshop approached Dindyal and a confrontation subsequently ensued which resulted in him being shot twice on his left arm and buttocks. Dindyal, 42 years, of De Willem, WCD is under guard at the GPHC.
