Dead: Trevor Abrams.

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Investigators have stumbled upon vital information that could lead them to the killer/killers of Engineer attached to the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC), Trevor Abrams.

Due to the sensitivity of the matter and in an effort not to compromise the investigation, iNews will not release the information; however well – placed sources within the Police Force have revealed that the information will more than likely lead investigators to those responsible for the murder.

Abrams had just left his Samatta Point, Grove East Bank Demerara home on Friday, February 27 and was driving along the Little Diamond Public Road when another vehicle drove up alongside him, reportedly cut off his path and opened fire on him.

The man was riddled with bullets which caused him to lose control of the vehicle he was driving, uprooted a light pole and ended up in a nearby canal. Persons said that it was only recently that the young man purchased the car.

Police sources have indicated that the execution of Abrams is linked to the execution of businessman Randolph Singh who was gunned down last week in front of his business place in Georgetown along with the attempted murder of ex-policeman and phantom squad member Otis Grant on Mashramani Day.

Grant is still a patient of a city hospital. The entire fall out is suspected to be over a deal that went sour with the businessman.
