Police in search of Agricola gang suspected of gunning down father of two

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police are currently in search of a gang from Agricola, East Bank Demerara in connection with the death of 28 – year – old Shem ‘Otto’ Padmore.

This follows new information provided by Padmore’s Brother-in- Law. Padmore, a father of two was reportedly shot three times on Thursday evening (March 05) in Agricola by the men, all of whom are reportedly known to him.

Relatives told iNews that the Brother-in-Law was robbed of his gold jewelry on Thursday in Agricola, after which he informed Padmore of what occurred.

According to the relatives, Padmor then decided that he would go into the village with his Brother-in-law and try to speak to the alleged robbers in an effort to retrieve the jewellery, since he knows them.

iNews understands that after Padmore approached the men, he was given the jewelry but as he was making his way into the vehicle, he was shot three times from the back.

Relatives added that he was then rushed and dumped off at the Diamond Diagnostic Centre. All of this took place with the Brother-in-law still in the vehicle.

The Brother-in-law was detained for questioning by the Police.
