[www.inewsguyana.com] – Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred at about 23:05hrs last night, Saturday November 15, on the main road at Greenwich Park, East Bank Essequibo, and which resulted in the death of 38 – year – old David Dhanraj.
Police investigations have revealed that a Police Constable was driving a Force vehicle along the roadway when it is alleged that the pedestrian attempted to cross the road and was struck down.
Dhanraj of Greenwich Park, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Leonora Cottage Hospital. The police rank is under close arrest as the investigations continue.
