[www.inewsguyana.com] – Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred at about 19:30 hrs last night (Wednesday October 22),on the Lusignan Public Road, East Coast Demerara and which resulted in the death of pedestrian.
Dead is 48 – year – old Deonarine Singh of Lusignan, ECD.
According to police, investigations have revealed that Singh allegedly attempted to cross the road and was struck down by a motor vehicle. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
