[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Dearoop Siewchand, 72 years, of Zeelandia, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara, whose body was found in his home at about 06:45h, today Sunday January 5, with several stab wounds.
According to the Police, the house was ransacked and his wife Davi Siewchand was assaulted. She was taken to the Mahaicony Hospital from where she was referred to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
