[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – four – year – old Hafaz Ali is nursing a gunshot wound to his right elbow after he was shot and robbed by two men at a shop in Annandale, East Coast Demerara on Saturday night (March 14).
According to the police, at about 19:30 hrs, Ali and two other men, all of Annandale, were in the shop when they were attacked by men armed with a firearm and a chopper.
A cell phone was taken from each of the victims by the perpetrators who then escaped, while Ali was treated at a hospital and sent away. Investigations are in progress.
