[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – five – year old Colin Abbert of Eccles, East Bank Demerara, is nursing a gunshot wound to the chest following a robbery on Tuesday night, November 17.
According to a police report, at approximately 21:00 hrs, Abbert and Shabike Perreira, 23 years, were held at gunpoint by two men armed with handguns at Ketley Street, Charlestown, Georgetown, and robbed of their jewellery and cash.
The perpetrators escaped on two motor cycles driven by two accomplices. No arrests have been made and investigations are in progress.
