Man shot dead in argument over money owed to him

A man of Laing Avenue, Georgetown was on Monday afternoon shot and killed by two men, following an argument over money.
Dead is Orin David, 32, called ‘Malik’ of Lot 89 Laing Avenue.
According to reports, David had a confrontation with another, who is said to have owed him some $150,000.
Reports are David approached the man and asked for the money after which the man left but subsequently returned in the company of another man and they were both armed with guns.
According to an eyewitness David was called by the two men who had returned in a black Toyota Raum.
They were heard telling him that they did not want trouble but just wanted to talk but instead shot him three times when he went to meet them.
Police ‘A’ Division Commander, Assistant Commissioner Clifton Hicken said the two suspects have been identified and are known to the Police.
Police are still searching for the gunmen.

  1. I stop lending money a few years ago , money lending leads to severed relationship and death. I loan my husband money to buy tickets for his brother and mother go to New York. They refused to pay . So we took our loss and kept our distance from them . Karma works trust me. My sympathy to his family and other loved ones. We have to pray for justice depending who the killers are.
